Trip by the Numbers

I can't say how fun it was to connect with friends from years back. I hadn't seen Liz since high school. We graduated in 1984 from Amador Valley High School. I hadn't seen Bill and Marlisa since our early married days in Provo, pre-Kamiko. We just picked up where we left off, though. Such great hosts and so kind to our family.

States visited:

Georgia (layover on the way)
New York
Pennsylvania
Maryland
Delaware (Amtrak went through it)
New Jersey

Temples visited:

Palmyra
Manhattan
Washington, DC

Pizza meals:

Palmyra, NY
Brooklyn, NY
Silver Spring, MD

Ice Cream:

Uncle Louie G's x 4
Liz's house
Chinatown Ice Cream Factory
Shake Shack

Total Cost:

$4,324 for all four of us for 12 days! Woot! Woot! (planes, trains, pedicabs, museums, clothes, food, host gifts, lodging, rental car, Cinderella, etc.)

That's $90.08/person/day

Did you know a one-day admission to Disneyland is $92?

Sidenote: On our first day in Manhattan, Allie said "New York is a lot like Disneyland, but with way more stairs and no rides."
