Friday...More shopping, MoMA, Dinner from Italian Deli

We decided we wanted to return to some favorite spots. We wanted to hit Zara on 5th Avenue. Keenan regretted having seen the Apple Store, but not going in. I wanted to go to TJ Maxx near Columbus Circle and we wanted to hit the Museum of Modern Art while it was free, which is every Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. So, we got bagels, got on the subway and put Mel to work.

We did it all and had a great time. Back in Brooklyn, we went to Caputo's, an Italian market/deli and got dinner. We bought ravioli, sauce, fresh mozzarella, salami and crusty garlic bread. We cooked the pasta at home and it was delicious. We got both chicken and rosemary ravioli and artichoke ravioli. Ahhh! Mel loves salami and she was in heaven. The sauce for the pasta was so good. It reminded me of Belina's pizza in Pleasanton and the awesome ravioli dad would bring home. To be honest, my mouth kinda waters, just thinking about it.

We went back to Uncle Louie G's for Italian ice. We had to wait for the rain to let up. It kinda did. We were wet when we got back and so was Roxy. We went to Uncle Louie G's 4 times on our trip. We loved taking Roxy out.

This is what I got when I asked Allie to take a picture of me. A selfie of her.
