Mel's Temple Day

Hi! One of the skirts Mel made to take on her mission.

Darling temple bag bought by grandma Hunter

Allie refused to be in a picture because she hadn't done her hair.
On Wednesday, May 2, Mel went through the temple before heading out on her mission. She and I had to be there at 12:30 and Keenan and Allie joined us in the 1:45 session. It was a small session and it was just the three of us there to support Melia. My mom and dad were out of town. Kamiko couldn't make it. We had a nice time, though. Keenan and Allie were the witnesses and that was special. Melia seemed to have a good day. We then went down to Springville to have Chinese food at T-Bone. It's a crazy little truck stop that has American and Chinese cuisine. Wow, it's good. Mel's boss, Chris, had taken the crew there and Melia was excited to go back. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive.

All of my kids have gone through the temple. All of them are doing good things: going to college at BYU, participating in their wards, living on their own, and being nice to each other and to me. It's a pretty great stage of life, I must admit.
