Mel and I get cultured

Mel and I have had a great time taking advantage of $5 Tuesday movies. We've seen "Hidden Figures" and "A Dog's Purpose." We also saw a special showing of broadway's "Newsies" in theaters and Annie Oswald gave us her tickets to see "7 Brides for 7 Brothers" at the Hale Center Theater. We loved "Newsies" so much that we're going to see it again on Saturday. When we heard they were doing an encore showing, we just had to go. They brought back original cast members and added them to current cast members. They rehearsed and performed. The performance was filmed for a simultaneous showing at theaters nationwide. Oh, it was soooooo great. Can't wait to go again. This time we'll clap after every number, as if we were actually in a broadway theater.
